"Latex for fun"es un proyecto colectivo que comenzó con una idea simple: crear, con puro espiritu "háztelo tu mismo" (d.i.y.) juguetes de diseño ("designer toys") descartables. Lo intentamos y nos agradó el resultado, así que decidimos compartir la idea y hacer algo de esto.

Esta es la propuesta:
1) coje un globo e ínflalo.
2) dibuja un rostro en él y crea un carácter del que te enamorarías.
3) sácale una foto (sólo, contigo, con tu madre o tu gato si quieres...)
4) envíanos la foto (junto con tus datos de contacto y la info que quieres que aparezca cuando lo
publiquemos) a: info@thecurrentlyoff.org
Finalmente editaremos un zine con los resultados del proyecto.
Todos los colaboradores recibirán una copia del zine.

La FECHA LiMITE es el 12 de JUNIO de 2006.

"Latex for fun" // designer toys for poor people
"Latex for fun" is a collective project that started with a simple idea: create disposable "designer toys" with pure d.i.y. ethics. We tried it and liked it, so we decided to spread the idea out there and make something else out of it.

Here´s the proposal:
1) get a white balloon and inflate it
2) draw a face on it and create a character you´ll fall in love with.
3) take a picture of it (with you, your mom or your cat, if you want to) and send it to: info@thecurrentlyoff.org
4) send the picture to us (with your contact info and all the information you´ll like to appear with it)
With all the submissions we´ll edit a zine with the results of the project.
Each collaborator with recieve a copy of it.
